"Yeah? Maybe if I get in the right mood, I'll put on a little show just for you." There are very few people on the station he'd consider doing that for, so in his mind, she ought to consider herself one of the lucky ones.
"Gee, Nat, keep that up and you're gonna make me blush," he quipped as he followed behind her. And as he did so, he finally noticed exactly what she was wearing. It didn't surprise him, given the nature of the place they were in, but still, it wasn't something he expected to see. Oh, he knew about catsuits, but this appeared to be a literal cat suit, complete with ears and a tail. "You been doing a little roleplay or something?"
He looked for a moment like he wanted to reach for the tail to give it a tug, but he thought better of it. "Oh, you know me so well." And then he did as he was bidden, reaching for the material to pull it off her. "I'd ask how you got into this in the first place, but maybe I don't want to know."
"Lucky me." She said with a chuckle, indeed feeling like one of the lucky ones. In truth, she really didn't think he'd look bad in a dress, and would be more surprised he didn't dress that way in his school days just to play a goofball or something.
"You. Blushing. Now that's a sight I want to see." She teased back and started to unzip herself. He could have pulled the tail, but he might have got a surprise reaction from her if he had. After all the tail was special and though it was part of the suit it was also, well, a plug.
"It was a theme'd club." She said lightly, looking back to him with a raised brow. "I knocked off three squares today, just at that one club with one person. The costume was one of those squares." She let out a breath as he started to help pull the suit back off her. Down her shoulders and arms, leaving little red marks as it went. Down her back and to her hips, leaving her chest exposed and thankfully free now.
She let out a deep sigh to that. "I'd say it was painted on but no, just very carefully pulled on this morning. Never to be worn again." She promised.
That does seem like a thing he would do, but oddly enough, his school days are something he preferred to keep quiet about. Unless of course it served his purposes to brag.
"Well, for you, I'd at least put in an effort." Not that he was in the habit of it, but teasing was just part of their usual song and dance. "Oh, a themed club. Sounds fun. And look at you, being a multi-tasker." It wasn't surprising, as Natasha was nothing if not resourceful, but still. "That suit cant have been comfortable, though."
Referring to those tell-tale red marks, of course. "Maybe a little in-shower massage will help get rid of them."
Bragging seemed like a big Tony Stark thing to do as well.
"Flattery gets you everywhere, Tony." She teased back about his efforts. Teasing just was how the two of them worked, and it worked out pretty fine. They both knew when the other was serious or not, and both knew when the other was being a tease.
"I've always tried to take one more than I should. It was a long day but three pings was good enough for me." She started to strop lower, shifting a bit as that tail was pulled from where it so firmly had been placed. She let out a small moan at that and a sigh, like she could relax for a bit. "The suit is not comfortable. But it does the trick. A left over from some gift box I got some time ago."
She let out another sigh as she started to peel it down her legs, turned now to look at Tony as she worked. "That actually sounds good." And she sounded genuine in how she said that. No tease or joke in her tone. She actually might be glad she stopped at his place.
It definitely was, and if anyone knew that, it would be Natasha. She always did have a funny way of seeing right through him, despite his best efforts to the contrary.
"Yeah, I know, why do you think I rely on it so much?" And the thing about Natasha was that he could usually be honest with her in ways that he couldn't with other people. He might not put it into such plain words, but he respected her, and he was glad he knew her.
"Nothing wrong with that, though, unless it winds up with you burnt out. No one wants that." But then, even if Natasha weren't burnt out, she'd never tell anyone about it. He was the same way. "If it checks off your squares, then I'd say it does the trick alright."
And then he was giving her a small smile; it was actually a genuine one, not one that he put on for the press or the fawning public. "Yeah? Well, now I want to give you one, then." He was glad she'd stopped in too, even if she had knocked his defenses, or lack of them.
It's a talent of a master spy, also she was just pretty good at reading him. Then again she felt like he projected his feelings a bit easier then some people.
She simply chuckled at his comment. It did get him far, didn't it? She could take it or leave it but tonight she would take the flattery. It felt nice for the most part. She had a respect for him too, even if it didn't show that often.
"Burn out? Hardly." She said with a scoff, peeling out of the rest of that cat suit and honestly going to throw it away after this. No sense mending it. "It'll take a lot more then that to burn me out." Which wasn't so true. She really was feeling it today. The idea of just relaxing a bit, no matter where it went, was nice. "Squares checked. I've only got a few more to go to get my first card under control." Just a few more to go.
That real smile though. That gave her pause. She smiled a genuine soft smile back, reaching out to touch his cheek for a moment, thumb stroking over a line of his beard, then she drew away to the shower, reaching in to turn it on. Knowing Tony, he had some fancy shower, but right now anything would work.
He'd maintain she's good at reading everyone, but that's one of those things that doesn't need to be said. And sometimes he did wear his feelings on his sleeve, although he wished sometimes that he didn't.
"I figured as much, but you know, everyone needs some TLC, even enigmas like yourself." He had been going for a different set of words, but there were so many ways to describe Natasha that doing so would take all day. "Lucky you. Or should I say, look at you, tiger?" He couldn't help but grin. "Obviously I need to pick up the pace, or I'm gonna be the only one on this station."
He didn't really think that was a possibility, but still, joking around and all. When Natasha reached out to touch his cheek, he couldn't quite hide the small smile that came up. What? Sometimes he couldn't help but respond positively to just the right touch from just the right person. But now it was time for that shower, and unless she changed her mind and sent him flying through the bathroom door, he intended to follow her.

"You a liquid or bar soap kind of girl?"
